Modo Visits Mexico
March 6, 2016

Soaking in the desert sun, King Modo found some much need leisurely lizard rest. Guillermo had travelled south many miles through Mexicali, past San Felipe, and into the small Baja community of Puertecitos.

Drinking water was often sparse, but Mexican Coke and cool Tecates made for fine refreshments between the afternoon siestas.

Guillermo met a magical Marlin named Marley, who once swam freely in the Sea of Cortez, but now spent most of his days in this quant little retirement community.

The bright sun rose each morning over the Gulf of California, signaling to the Lizard Land Alliance that a new day had begun.

Energized by the heat, Guillermo would often by found shaking maracas and dancing around hats. Careful with that cacti Komodo!

Life at a crawl's pace down here was just what the King needed.

The revitalized, revamped, road-stricken reptile was now ready to return home to his city by the bay. The San Francisco bay's fog horns sang a song for Guillermo upon his much-anticipated, safe arrival home.
