About King Guillermo Modo
Guillermo Modo, known throughout the world as the King of Lizards, is a Komodo Dragon from humble beginnings. The fierce warrior dragon helped unify his fellow lizards of Komodo island after centuries of upheaval and conflict. Modo was unanimously sworn in as King of Lizards, and requested by lizards around the world to assist in a world unification of lizard peace.
Traveling north, Modo met successfully with many lizard leaders throughout Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Taiwan before becoming captured by a radical group of domesticated Komodo Dragons in China. Tragically, the King was transformed into a toy lizard in 2009 and shipped to Chico California, where he remained trapped in the National Yo-Yo Museum for three years.

One fateful February afternoon, Guillermo's pleads for help were heard by an unsuspecting saint named Kate, who helped free Modo from the constraints of the toy shelf. Once freed, Guillermo bestowed upon his new companion the title Queen Kate of the Humans, and vowed to ensure her constant protection and security by way of the lizards.
